We reserve the right to publish your Work(s) on any of our website and social media platforms and in issues and books.

Only completed works are accepted. We review all submissions and will contact those which are a good fit for The Artkive. It may take some time, roughly two weeks, to respond to your submitted piece. We appreciate your patience, kindness and understanding. We will not respond to any aggressive or mean-spirited emails. It just wouldn’t help :-)

We DO NOT accept hate speech, degrading or hateful “Work(s)”. We DO accept and publish curse words when used in an enriching, humorous or artistic fashion. We DO NOT print sexually abusive or degrading “Work(s)”. If in doubt about the subject matter of your piece, please ask us to review it and we will let you know your idea or topics for our publication.

We reserve the right to edit your written “Work(s)” according to our house style, aesthetic and layout needs. All contributors will receive notification of any changes or edits via email and will be required to give approval of these changes via email communication. We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to visual “Work(s)” such as modifying a color or crop part of a piece for publishing purposes. All contributors will receive notification of any changes or edits via email and will be required to give approval of these changes via email communication. We reserve the right to include story titles over visual “Work(s)” if your image is selected to be paired with a story or written work. The Artkive is not responsible for any color, cropping, folding, or marking on published “Work(s)” made because of machinery or equipment failure during the printing process. We reserve the right to pull “Work(s)” at any time due to spatial issues or lack of approved edits.
